The equipment and supplies used to seal the floor. From right to left they are:

1.      PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

a.       Gloves (approved for acid)

b.      Safety Goggles

c.       Tyvek Suit

2.      Hydro-Seal Cement Sealer

3.      Detergent

4.      Pressure Washer

5.      Floor Squeegee

6.      1 Gallon of Acid

7.      10 Gallon bucket

Cleaning the floor. Pressure washing at this time with no detergent. The detergent will be used to neutralize the acid once the acid has done its job.

Mixing the acid with water. I realize the Tyvek suit will not withstand the acid, but I figured one layer of protection would be better than none. I have a respirator too, but I removed it when setting the camera up and seems I forgot to put it back on. What was I thinking

Acid at work here. The spots that look dry are actually the reaction of the acid on the cement.

The floor covered with soap. I’ve flooded the floor with the detergent which neutralizes the acid. Then I rinsed the floor as well.

These pictures show the sealer coat applied. The manufacturer said the sealer had the consistency of milk. I read more into that than I should. I had pictured a product that would be white in color too, but indeed was clear. Which is fine either way.
